Thx** A: It's built in. When you go through set-up on screen, it automatically looks for connections and asks for the password. Linked up to our home hub with no problems. **Q: Can this successfully play different file types from my nas? online reviews mention stuttering when doing this.** A: FVP-5000T models can support Video, music and photo file playback from both external USB hard drives and Network Attached Drives. The most commonly used are supported, JPEG, Mpeg. Stuttering could be due to limitations of the network connected too, but have never experienced personally. **Q: Can you access Amazon Prime from the remote?** A: No **Q: If your wifi dropped for any length of time, does it still record OK as long as it's set to record only live broadcasts and not catch-up programmes?** A: Recording does not depend on WiFi. Machine records more than one program at a time but up to now have only recorded 2 programs at same time, no problems. ## Frequently Bought Together - HUMAX FVP-5000T 500 GB Freeview Play HD TV Recorder - Black - for humax rm-l08 remote control compatible for humax remote control rm-l08 for Freeview Play HD TV Recorder FVP-4000T FVP-5000T FVP-5000 FVP4000T FVP5000T FVP5000 - Manhattan T4-R 500GB Freeview Play 4K TV Recorder --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/50474611-fvp-5000t-500-gb-freeview-play-hd-tv-recorder-black](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/50474611-fvp-5000t-500-gb-freeview-play-hd-tv-recorder-black) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-11-02*
