I think it helped a bit, but if you plug it in, and push the red button, then there is this high pitched buzzing sound which is very irritating unless you have music on. It's a bit like the sound of a dog whistle.....Also, I was forced to buy this product from the UK (I live in Belgium) because the French Amazon site refused to mail to to me! So, I had UK plugs and then had to buy a converter - very annoying.
