So, the 1/2” part is between the garage door and the garage. I leave in Santa Fe, NM and we’ve had lots of weather (snow and rain), and so far no puddles in the garage. **Q: Should I removed the bottom door seal from the door before installing the threshold seal?** A: No I wouldn’t do that . By leaving it on creates a tighter seal at the bottom.
