The weight is accurate, the foam coating seems good quality, my wife likes them for her exercises. The packing was poor, though. The box with the weights in it was placed in a larger box with no packing material, and literally ripped open that outer box. I actually keep one in bed near me so I can use it frequently. I am post shoulder replacement surgery and it's been a struggle to get my muscle strength back and my flexibility. Every little bit of use has helped get my arm strength back. I am 71 years old and when I first lifted this weight I thought it was twenty pounds! I was shocked and thought they had sent me the wrong ones. Thats how weak I was. Now, after several weeks of using it daily, it's just enough to be a pleasant workout for my arms. I use them several times a day. My next shoulder surgery is coming up and I feel that I am much better shape this time.
