No it isn't AT ALL. You have to buy 36 v batteries and charger! **Q: what batteries can i use with this?** A: This chainsaw needs the bigger american garden tool type 36V battery which they call 40V. The normal UK 36V battery will not fit as it is too small. I think this battery is the Dcb 407 Max Premium Xr lithion iron 7.5Ah and can be obtained from ebay. The problem is I don't think they make a UK type charger for this battery and so it is useless in the UK. I instead bought a Dewalt 54V flexvolt 40cm chainsaw which the batteries and charger are available in the UK. The 54V flexvolt battery will also fit Dewalt 18V tools **Q: Hi - can you confirm the description? I didnt think dewalt did a 36volt version.
