The adhesive on the magnetic mounting stickers is strong. The magnet strength is sufficient (not amazing). The only small things to consider is that there is an audible click when the unit turns off. Note the one mounting bracket position, suggesting it's implied to be mounted vertically (it may sag if mounting horizontally). It still operates at 4.25 volts. Anything below 4.25V may not be enough to power the switch. Lastly, there is a visible red light inside the unit when it's on.
