Review: Amazing film - Came very quickly and looks amazing great film Review: a stunning Blu Ray release of a great film - I'm well aware of the love this film has recieved both critically and from the public. for a full review I'd suggest looking elsewhere, As I'd like to take the time to highlight another aspect of this, besides the amazing sets, great dialogue, fantastic songs and altogether wonderful plot and delivery. And that, is the fact that this blu ray features possibly the best transfer of a film I've seen outside of Pixar's work. I simply cannot accurately communicate the amount of detail present in this film and just how crystal clear the image is, with the skeleton jazz sequence in particular looking almost as if it were actually unfolding in front of me and all the environments and sets appeared so tactile and crisp as to be almost like looking through a window. No matter how hard I tried I couldn't find a single solitary moment where compression became apparent. not a single artefact throughout the entire film. it's just that good.
