This is expensive. Am I even getting the actual product?** A: I would think there SHOULD be one so I’d be concerned also. Most liquid items have one for safety and to keep product from leaking during shipping process. I would call Nexus themselves re the seal issue. You won’t get an answer from them here. **Q: is this formaldehyde free?** A: Nexxus does not formulate products with formaldehyde. What I do is to add just a little bit of water to the bottle and shake it up good. The product is still thick, but dispenses much more easily.
