## Description

Boasting simplicity at its best, the Moiz 14 Inch Wood Platform Bed Frame fuses traditional style with a hint of rustic charm. This solid wood frame is built sturdy and designed with adaptability in mind, so it looks gorgeous situated next to a large window, beneath your coziest throw pillows or anywhere in between! Fashioned with wood slats for mattress support without a box spring, this foundation also comes with over 10 inches of clearance space, allowing you to keep extra odds and ends tucked away under the bed. With a foundation this sturdy, attractive and easy to assemble, a bedroom it doesn’t look picture-perfect in will be hard to find.

Review: Pretty and sturdy, but ONE IMPORTANT NOTE... - DURING ASSEMBLY, it is very important that you do not fully tighten the screws in each corner one by one! First, line everything up and lightly screw in all four corners, and then go back and tighten them. If you don't do it this way, you will have a lot of trouble getting the four corners to line up together. I'm sure this is probably common knowledge for most people with furniture building experience, but it wasn't noted in the instructions and I was a bit scared that I was sent a frame with faulty holes. You will likely need someone to hold up the pieces while you're doing this part. Other than that, this bed frame is very sturdy and simple to assemble. Its perfectly compatible with my full-sized ZINUS green tea mattress. I've had it set up for over a month now and haven't noticed any squeakiness (it is used rarely though). The package it comes in isn't too heavy and the box is easy to move around; one person could even move it on their own if they're comfortable carrying around 45lbs. My package did not contain any missing parts, and the frame itself was in good condition other than a few discolored spots on the slats (they didn't have any odor, so I don't think they were mildew). My only complaint about the frame is that the "Natural" color is a bit more red than the image, but it ended up matching my room anyways. Overall, I recommend this bed frame for being easy to assemble and well-packaged.
Review: Solid wood frame at a good price! - I have been using this queen sized frame for 3 weeks now and must say that I am pleasantly surprised by it and would have no reservations recommending it to others. I was looking for a solid wooden slat frame for my soon to arrive bed in a box. I confess that some of the previous reviews for this product made me think twice before ordering, but I certainly am glad I did. The box arrived quickly through prime. Although there was a fair amount of damage to the one corner of the box which revealed the packing under it, the frame itself remained unscathed. Several other reviewers had similar experiences so I can only conclude that packing is sufficient enough to prevent anything serious from happening. The box is extremely heavy so I can understand why the damage occurs. (I felt rather bad for the delivery man). The box is roughly 90 pounds so make sure you either have help moving it or are willing to move it piece by piece to prevent injury. The product is well wrapped and everything you need to assemble it is included. All of the pieces were the correct length. (That was something I was concerned about after reading reviews. Some people had issues with the legs being different lengths so I checked them all before constructing the frame). Several reviews also stated that the instructions were rather vague. As long as you can read illustrations and know how the pieces are labeled, you should be fine. The only thing that seemed vague to me was the bar which goes from head to foot in the middle of the bed. One side of it had a black velvet strip running the length of it. That side faces up so when the slats are laid upon it, it prevents noise and movement. I put the frame together by myself and it took around ten minutes. The trick is not to tighten any screws until the entire frame is constructed. All the pre-drilled holes matched up well except the ones on the crossbar (which is the last piece installed). The holes for the crossbar were slightly off, not enough to make it an issue, but enough that I had to "pull" the bar a bit to line it up for the screws. Even before I had all the screws tightened, the frame was solid. The slats were the biggest concern for me as everyone had a different opinion on them. No one seemed to agree on the thickness, distance between, durability, etc. Here's my take on them (pic included). The slats were uniform. Slats are just under 3 inches in width with 2.5 inch spacing between each. They came in two bundles. One end slat from each bundle had holes drilled into it which lined up with pegs on the frame so there was no mistaking how to place the slats on the frame and the ends are secure. Velcro strips adhered on both ends of the slats hold the slats together and sync up with Velcro on the frame. This made it easy to lay them down as it kept them uniform in distance, flush to the frame, and prevented slippage/movement. There are two slats which have white stickers on them. Removing the stickers is supposed to make the two slats adhere to the bottom of the mattress. I decided not to remove the stickers as I rotate my mattress. My mattress is 89 pounds and I have not had it move on the slats unless I purposely move it. The frame is very sturdy. The queen size has 9 evenly spaced legs to support the weight of a mattress. I like the 2.5 inch spacing between the slats. I know many bed companies state up to 4 inches is acceptable, but I feel better with the 2.5 for warranty purposes and hope that it will make the frame more durable through the years. I know that the space beneath the bed is about 8 inches for me. I have no issues sliding my storage bins under which is a plus! (Just have to be aware that 3 support legs break up the space underneath). An added bonus is having my feet flat on the floor when I sit on the edge of the mattress. Great height for getting in and out of bed without struggling! For the price, you can't go wrong.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Definitely worthy the money!
*by N***A on March 13, 2021*

I’ve had this type of bed before. It didn’t last long and I’m not a big person. When I opened this one I could tell immediately that the wood was a better quality. Even the planks were much thicker and more polished. The Velcro and peg system holds the plans in place nicely! This is the first time I’ve had metal support in the middle and at first I wasn’t a fan. I like to decorate my room according to feng shui standards which dictate a solid wood frame but I think the metal support gave me the additional sturdiness I needed. I did find the instructions to be a bit confusing, lining up the letters to the numbers on the stickers. I finally just did it by sight and gut instinct and it came out perfect. The ratchet set that’s included made it a lot easier to get into the tight areas and it included spare parts which is very helpful. One of the bolts wasn’t threaded properly but I was able to use one from the spare parts packet. I’m a 58-year-old single woman and I put it together in about 25 minutes. 10 of that was just trying to figure out the instructions at first. After I got the mattress and the headboard and everything else together I was so happy. It’s a nice solid bed and looks pretty. The only problem I had was with the middle wooden side feet (I’m holding one in the photo). They’re right where your toes want to go when you climb into bed and it’s perfectly square so the edges are sharp. I ended up taking mine off because I just know I’m going to have a bad injury if I don’t. If those were rounded off at the edges it would be better. I don’t know that I would take those off if I were a larger person or spend a lot of time sitting on the side of the bed. I only did it because they don’t completely touch the floor anyway, I think they’re there just for a back up support. Other than that, great value for the money and the quality is superb! Side note: This frame isn’t designed to attach a headboard. Once I had my mattress on it I was able to push it against the wall to secure my headboard.
