The Bob Ross brush will blend really well. A general hardware brush will leave brush marks and scratches in your paint finish. The tip of the Ross brush is more finely shaped and you can use a corner with more finesse. **Q: Do the bristles separate and cause unwanted lines when doing a wet wash?** A: Not sure what you mean by wet wash? This brushes should never be in contact with water. Only oil paints and thinner for cleaning the brush and thinning the paint. I've found with mine the paint holds the bristles together perfectly as the brushes are quite thick and very playable. David. **Q: Is this the same as the 2” landscape brush?
