Lots of different color threads, and a decent amount of each color too. The pearl needles seem to come off the round holder easily and were scattered around the kit, so, will have to tape them down as I don't want to drop any on the floor for the cat. I finally spent a little more and got this set which makes me wish I had spent a little more sooner. Includes all kinds of stuff, but most importantly, needles that are high quality (and that one can thread without an electron microscope), strong thread, and a good case to keep it all together.
