This carpet was a gift for my sons birthday. I like the design but it has a terrible smell. I have been airing the carpet for 3 days now but the plastic chemical smell does not go away. I am wondering if there is anything else I can do to get rid of the smell?I will give it a week of seating outside on my balcony and if it does not go away I will have to return it.
