The PDBT19 is no exception to this and is robust and high quality, in not only in build quality but in sound to. This die-cast titanium super tweeter will allow you to achieve the highest highs! This 2" aluminum driver contains a 2" titanium diaphragm for sweet, accurate highs. This 300 watt tweeter isn't lacking for power. Frequency response: 2 - 25 kHz. 4 ohm impedance. Modern bullet horn tweeters are originally a DJ / PA speaker design, developed to fill a need for small high efficiency treble units which could produce precise, very fast, clean, low-distortion sound, and high acoustic energy levels where lack of space in a speaker cabinet prevented the fitting of traditional full size horns. They use a tapered widening throat to produce a far wider frequency band than dome tweeters are capable of and broadcast extremely well over larger areas. The large heavy chassis they use contain the energy levels of the speaker and help to prevent the vibration induced distortion often found in smaller lightweight speaker units. For car audio installers this technology cannot be ignored, with the advent of techno, trance, modern R&B and dubstep – ordinary car dome tweeters can no longer produce the volume level or width of treble required to replay music accurately which was recorded for playback in nightclubs using large speaker drivers. Traditional horns are simply too large to be used in a car audio environment, with their large magnets and flush mount designed structures bullet tweeters are perfect for mounting in custom panels, dashboards and bass boxes where depth specifically is often a critical issue within the installation. ## Questions & Answers

**Q: can these be used in home speakers to replace tweeters on my set?**
A: If your speakers have a crossover unit in them there won't be a problem. They are 4-8 ohms so are quite robust. The polarity is important for hi-fi but it's quite forgiving if you get it the wrong way round. I'm delighted with my tweeters. There's plenty of headroom on them. They are exceptional value for money. You'll find it hard to damage them on a domestic setup.

**Q: What is the distance between the fixing holes?**
A: My speakers have a steel front bolted to my sounding board and I cannot measure the unit.
I have to update one of my crossovers soon and will measure then and archive this message and if you've found no source other, I'll put it on then

**Q: Please verify if these are sold as a pair when bought 1 pcs as one reviewer pointed here.**
A: HiThe listings states they come as a pair so if you purchased a set you would get 2 Horn Tweeters. Hope this helps.

**Q: Is there install instructions included**
A: Major problem with these loudspeakers is the fact that they are not air sealed, there are gaps for air to ventilate through, so you must install them in isolated box to prevent bass speaker air bypass.

These tweeters are worth every penny I paid! I built myself a dj set up in my room and built some speakers from scratch. I'm vet fussy about having crystal clear top end and these tweeters perform 100%Very happy with them. And they look good too!! I was dubious at first when I saw they where made by Pyle, which aren't a leading brand In sound. But these r just great!!
