I bought these for an upcycling project. I used them with water based paint and the coverage was good, especially for awkward places and little dips and ridges. The brushes clean well under warm water and dry fairly quickly. I used the medium brush for wax and that gives a good spread too. There are a few loose strands of brush but easily removed. Also the bristles do pick up colour but if cleaned thoroughly do not interfere with next job of painting. The handles are a good length, feel comfortable and provide a good grip. Useful products. Great for chalk paints and wax. Nice and thick, decent size handle with hooks to air dry.
