It fits my Sony DSR-300 camera like a glove with no movement on the camera, the release lever is solid, and works perfectly, the reviews from other users who say that the lever doesn't work, or that the base locking screw is useless, show that either they are using this device on the wrong type of camera, or they simply don't know how to use the adapter correctly.
