But he's getting too strong for his training collar, so I wanted to transition him to a harness that would help train good walking behavior. So far I like it. It's cut down on pulling on walks almost immediately, and the shorter leash gives you more control. The metal parts seem solidly built and the double d-rings on the back is essential backup in case the (plastic, ugh) buckle comes loose.The negatives come in the materials. I'm used to smooth nylon products that won't tangle or irritate my dogs skin. I'm not sure the material here but it's not coated or smooth so I'm hesitant to leave the harness on for any length of time. And the plastic pieces seem pretty cheap. But for his first training harness, and for the price, I can't complain too much.I got a size M so it'd fit him now and as he grows, but the t-strap is a bit loose (they don't provide a measurement for that so it's a crapshoot). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Very nice *by C***J on Reviewed in the United States on July 23, 2017* This harness it awesome. I had bought one for our small pitbull puppy that had to go over his enormous head that was too big around his chest. It was a nightmare to get on and off and took both me and my husband to put on. This one he just steps right into and secures around on his back.It of course doesn't stop him from chewing at it but if you have something that could I'd pay BIG money for that haha. When we got this his chest was about an inch too small but at the rate he was growing I knew it would fit in a week. It was a bit loose but still stayed on. He will be able to grow into it for a few months thanks t it being adjustable. We were looking for something cheap but effective that we didn't feel bad about tossing after he grows out of it and this fit the bill perfectly. The leash is a bit short for a well trained dog but is perfect for our rebellious puppy. Very good value. The bright red color works for a make shepherd puppy. The price was right for something he'll outgrow. I ordered the next size up to keep us in the know when it's walk time. It allows room to grow but not sure if the large will really take us up to 70lbs. The leash wasn't bad and the puppy is 24lbs and I'm 5'9". Dogs don't need big leads if they're walking right by your side where they belong when training. I'm a firm believer in adequate training for all breeds especially my shepherd and Rottweiler pups I own. I'll get the yellow for my girl next month.
