I’ve recently installed six LED 6w dimmable downlighter spotlights, which I wanted to control either by a wall switch or via Alexa, without the need for a neutral wire (as most wall switches only have a live, switched live and an earth). And this switch does just that. I’ve already had couple of smart wall plugs that used the Smart Life app, so syncing this switch to it was near automatic.The dimming range is superb, so will go literally from barely visible (if you say “Alexa, dimmer switch 1%) all the way to 100% without a flicker (By the way the downlighters are Luceco from Screwfix and are superb). They switch is a soft start so there is about half a second delay from pressing the button to lights coming on. And you can for example ask Alexa to turn them on, and you can then manually turn them off via the wall. Also works vice versa, or by only using a the wall switch or Alexa. Honestly, this switch is great. By the way it’s the Wifi version I bought, as I believe they also sell a zigibe version but you need a bridge or a hub for that one. Neither one was required for this install. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This works really well. In the pictures you will see my 3 gang dimmer. One is the above Smart switch and the others are still conventional (for now). I will be replacing the rest as I’ve been running this dimmer now for two months and I’m super happy.Easy to configure. Using Home Assistant and Zigbee2MQTT with Sonoff Zigbee stick. Wired in the switch, reset it following the instructions, set to pair and it was up and running. You can set a minimum dim level to avoid flickering. All configuration and reset is done from the switch button. No need to open up again.One point. I have 3 of these and each one of driving about 6 LED Gu10s and I have no issue with flickering (once set up for minimum value). Unfortunately my 9.5W LED bulb was flickering with it, but that was expected. I also expected that my "dimmable" LED will be way too bright at it's lowest, which it was.
