She would dig at it because it was itchy and then that would scrape open the crusty parts and it would bleed and weep. I was DESPERATE to help her. This stuff doesn’t sting her, even when I started putting it on that terrible mess. I put it in 2 times a day for about a week and now one time a day for the 2nd week and the infection is almost gone! No Vet visit, no antibiotics. And she can FINALLY rest easy.
