Has anyone tried both?** A: I have tried both and they both seem to work fine. I prefer this one due to having mainly cat stains and this seems to prevent them from remarking due to still smelling it on the carpet and removes any sight of a stain. I do however have to use the attachment for it to really work, or rub in with a spoon to really get into the stain. **Q: Can this be used on upholstery to clean an entire couch and love seat and not just for spot cleaning?** A: yes this can be used on upholstery to clean couch and love seat.
