I love using ballpoint pens and pencils on this paper. My only complaint is the cover. The old ones used to be much simpler, just a plastic front and chipboard back cover, and they were separate. The paper sometimes seems like it's "drying up" the ink or something and can make it skip though. **Q: Is the paper heavyweight?** A: It seems to be heavy - similar to fabric - not easy to tear. But I suppose that’s subjective. It is heavier than the loose leaf paper we used in school - and very smooth for writing.
