They are impressed with it but mention that the usual slide mats are a loop whereas this one is a single sheet. It does work, but the district nurse team delivered a loop version this week and that does seem to be a better option than this potentially. That said the sheet is long although not as wide as the loop version so I would recommend you consider both options when deciding which type of mat to order. Thank You** A: The care label on the sheets reads 'Warning - Do Not Wash'. I am not sure if wiping with a damp cloth wuld be OK though, as the material is (I would guess) either nylon or viscose. I bought it when caring for my Dad and the professional carers later commented on how good it was because it has multiple handles along both sides. Have to say it worked very well, but as we had a few we never needed to launder it.
