Just make sure you follow the instructions and have a good pair of waterproof gloves so your hands don't end up dyed as well. Try using a bucket with hand dyes ,its easier to mix the fabric rather than a shallower bowl. With dyes used in the washing machine ,I always use a 40 degree wash with a small cup of bleach to clean the machine after. **Q: How much would I need to dye a double quilt** A: I don't know but I'm guessing about four packets?
