However, after doing some sums I realised that this was actually much better value than the other nappy bins that twist and package each nappy. Firstly, this looks great and is very well constructed and feels quality. It’s easy to clean, and spray disinfectant spray in it when I change the bag. Secondly, you can use your own bin bag, which over time you will be using this (years!) will save a lot of money in comparison to competitor I mentioned earlier. The refills for those are very expensive. Thirdly, it does it’s job VERY well. Our boy is breastfed and is 10 weeks old now. We can fill this with days worth of nappies and it doesn’t smell at all. I actually cannot believe it. We wrap dirty nappies and wipes in a bag and then put them in this pail. We change it every few days, when it is full. When you have so much to do as a new parent, you just want things that work. We are not extravagant parents, we have literally only bought this and a baby carrier new and everything else has been second hand.
