I use the purple cup, which is the large size. I wish I had started using these sooner, rather than thinking they were a crazy hipster fad until I took the time to watch tutorials. The C-fold & insertion is pretty easy, especially when the cup is wet from being washed off. It did worry me at one point that the cup was too far up & I couldn't fish the stem out; I was just messing w/ it too early. When the cup fills about halfway, your vagina will start pushing it downwards, like it does with a tampon. Then you can do a couple of small pushes to get a good hold on the stem. Then you pull it out slowly so it can un-sunction safely & keep the blood inside the cup during removal. I would only suggest the stems be longer; I'm used to a tampon string hanging out, so this is personal preference. Other than that, it is comfy, keeps smells away, & fits just fine. I bought a pair of ModiBodi absorbent black "period panties" to wear as well, & I'm sure they'll be the cleanest pair of period panties ever. I'm glad I made this purchase. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing...wish I had tried these sooner! *by J***R on April 6, 2018* I have to say, I was a bit squeamish and skeptical about giving these a try, but I am pleased I did. I liked that they came in two sizes. I am a 42 year old mother to four children, all vaginal births, and I assumed that I would need the larger of the two cups. I discovered that the smaller cup works perfectly for me through my entire cycle, both for light and heavy days. Insertion was relatively easy, I just followed the directions with the C fold and I was surprised that I never felt the cup like I did when I would wear tampons. I wore a panty liner, day and night, in case of leaks but never saw any trace that they were needed. My cramps were greatly reduced, almost nonexistent, and the uncomfortableness and irritation that I experienced with pads and tampons was gone. I only emptied the menstrual cups while at home, to avoid anyone hearing the strange sounds experienced while breaking the suction to remove the cup and to avoid trying to clean the cup in public. I am happy that I gave these a try and will be using them for the remainder of my menstruating years, barring any issues. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Silicone menstrual cups *by E***. on March 21, 2018* I just started using the small size and will try the large size soon. This is my first menstrual cup and the instructions were very helpful and easy to understand. I'm still practicing how to insert and retrieve, but I am so glad I switched to this product. I'm very satisfied with this, and it's very comfortable to wear, like I don't even feel it when it's inserted. Since I am a beginner, I do have a little spotting, but I imagine I'll get better with more practice. I feel so much more comfortable and confident with this menstrual cup.(Update: 5 months later) I have used both sizes and prefer the size large.
