There are so many different styles of them and, ultimately, they can be quite difficult to draw if you aren't already experienced. I wouldn't recommend this book for beginners. Start off with the beginners' book and then work your way up. Trust me, the extra effort is worth it if you want a great drawing sitting on your sketchbook or computer screen! For the price, you get a massive book and loads of information and inspiration. There are so many genres and line-by-line detailing that it makes drawing them out so much easier. It also gave me quite a bit of insight on the anime-male anatomy that can only be given through display.Did I mention that there were many, many boys? Because there are. And they're fabulous!This book is amazing. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love it!! *by S***A on November 23, 2015* I got this book today and there's a few things I wanna say about it1. It came a day early so that made me really happy2. After flipping through it I defiantly find it challenging as far as drawing your male characters in action poses. It was something I've been trying to learn how to do and now I can just open up this book and get a reference in an instant.However this isn't a how to draw book and it's really not for beginners. If your a beginner and looking for a how to draw book, this book isn't for you. I would say it's more for "advanced or skilled" artists that know or have a pretty good idea on how to draw manga. Me personally I'm not a beginner but I'm no expert either so this book is a challedge for me. Anyways it's full of all sorts of manga guys, one that I didn't expect to see so it's great for inspiration. This book is great for inspiration and for evryone who likes or is a fan of manga. BUT if you are a beginner and want this book to teach you how to draw then don't buy it. This book gives you step-by-step instryctions but they are kinda hard to follow and the coloring is definatly hard to do.
