There is no physical fixing of electrical contacts within the torch they are all only held in place by weak sprung contacts ie: between the led unit and the main housing and the battery compartment spring. this lead to constantly flickering light intensity which is frustrating when you need it. i temporarily cured this by dissembling and bending the flimsy contacts to make a better connection but i don't think it will last long..
