Thanks** A: I have not tried spinach but it does kale extremely well. I often add a handful of mint or lemon verbena to my juices and the pulp comes out completely dry. With wetter ingredients like tomatoes and grapes it does tend to get clogged up in the bowl..I think spinach might do that as it is quite wet and soft. **Q: do you have to peel fruit?** A: When it comes to the thicker skinned fruit such as Orange, Lemon, Pineapple etc which are the fruits which you would not usually eat the skins from then it is recommended for juicing performance and better taste that you do peel the fruit. However, for fruits and vegetables with more edible skins such as apple, pear, plum and carrot etc these fruits and vegetables definitely do not need to be peeled. **Q: Does this juice Bananas?** A: Late to the party I know but bananas will mush up around the β€˜squeezer’. This can be unclogged by adding something fibrous. We use a couple of bananas, oranges and then carrots which clear everything and tastes nice. **Q: Hi how does this item compare with the Kuvings B6000? Doesn't look very different to me?** A: There are some similarities but this is just the nature of how a whole juicer works. ie large feed chute etc. However, there are some big differences. The JR 8000 has some extra advanced technology patented by JR Ultra. The auger is more advanced than the Kuvings with extra bumps rather than being totally smooth. This makes the surface area bigger and adds more friction meaning that it extracts juice from hard to juice produce like green leaves and wheatgrass much much better.The JR 8000 has a large handle and more stylish design. The motor is large and very reliable and this adds to the weight. Unlike the Kuvings JR have added a large handle to make moving it around much easier. The Kuvings is also heavier because it too has a big motor but no big handle so is harder to maneuver.The price of the JR Ultra is less and actually you get much more with it. Happy with this purchase. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Expensive but well worth the money *by T***R on 14 March 2015* This is a very expensive juicer. It makes very quick works even when the juicer is full. The pulp comes out dry. It is the best juicer we have ever had. It gets used at least twice per day and more often at weekends, it has never let us down yet. We have put every type of veg and fruit we like and it has got plenty of juice for four of us.
