I have very tough 4c hair and gummy products are the only things that have kept my edges down. I was looking for a gel that wouldn't leave my hair hard and flaky after my wash n go so decided to give this a try after seeing the reviews (I used to use eco styler gel but it left my hair flaky and hard). Let me tell you this left my hair feeling hard as a rock after 24 hrs. I actually wasn't surprised. So if you're after super strong hold, this is your guy but if your after something more light and less hold, not your guy. It didn't fit the purpose for which I bought it but I have already found plenty other uses for it.
