Review: Most affordable and easiest option for quick jerk rig connection - Be careful of other long line clips that don't fully grasp the line (not sure what those are for). These ones DO fully grasp it. So, they are perfect for a jerk jig. Your jerk line needs to be somewhat thick still to get a firm grip (paracord, rubber coated cable, decoy line, etc.). Essentially, you probably shouldn't use thin braided line (fishing line) but I may be the only person who has tried that. Hot tip: Some places sell metal wire with a green rubber coating as clothes-line cable and it works well for decoy line and these clips. And is much cheaper than buying by the foot. You might want to add a few swivels along it to keep the line twist in check, which adds to the cost and build time.

**Q: What’s the breaking strain**
A: So no clue use them for open water long lines with 300lb mono holding up great.  Strain wise not sure

A: They work best on 300lb test or higher.The picture shows it clipped to fishing line. I am not sure if I am missing something in the question. Long Line is a commercial fishing practice which involves fishing line. They are used on fishing line and designed for.

**Q: Would this attach securely to 1/8" ghg pro-grade decoy line to make a diver decoy long line? (essentially asking if it will slide or not on 1/8"braid)**
