I had trouble getting it inserted correctly and found it hard to remove with longer nails. It's been two cycles since I've bought it. Yes, it happens to be problematic to put it in, and sometimes takes more than one or two attempts until you get it comfortable. Once you do, you don't feel it. I don't know about other cups, but this one leaks for me sometimes. I'm still using small singles. Maybe I'm not aware how to use it the best way and haven't watched youtube tutorials, ha. However I wouldn't go back to pads!
