Great book, very informative and written in a way that’s easy to understand.

I studied a degree in psychology at university and the two areas I found most interesting included trauma and attachment. I have read further into these areas after I graduated. This book is well presented as it breaks down the key areas of attachment theory into easy to digest chapters. At the end of each chapter references are included for further reading. A great start for anyone interested in attachment theory. This field is supported with a significant amount of empirical evidence and should be of interest to everyone. Highly recommended this book as a foundation to understanding the field.

This is a wonderful text that is accessible, thoughtful and comprehensive. The authors manage to balance the vast landscape of attachment theory into chunks of information that are enough but not overwhelming. History, theory and clinical cases. Have purchased for staff.

Fab book resources that covers everything needed for getting to grips with attachment theory. I found the case illustrations and clinical examples brought the theory to life. So useful, I keep going back to this book!
