They’re very difficult to put into shoes - my finger and thumb were red raw by the time I’d threaded 24 eyelets. Because they’re fully rubber, you have the pull them very hard to get them through the holes - not easy in tiny children’s shoes - which resulted in one of the end pieces breaking off. It would probably be better to make the end pieces solid to make them easier put in and less likely to break during this process.
