I bought it to put underneath my NiPogi mini PC. it is exactly the right size for that! There are two criticisms you could have of this fan - one is that it is quite noisy, and the other is that it does not have rubber feet. The bare metal of the guard rests against whatever surface you stand it on, so the sound of the motor is transmitted and makes a rattling sound! If you do soldering, then this fan can double up as a small extractor for you work area. As this fan has a finger guard on both sides, you can put it inside the case of a piece of equipment, such as an old Apple II or Amiga which you think requires additional ventilation.
