    I received a copy for free in exchange for a review.As someone with an advanced degree in psychology, I have some serious concerns about this book. I don't, in principle, have issues with people trying alternative treatments, but I had to stop reading when the first issue addressed in this book was bipolar disorder. Bipolar disorder is a very serious illness, and it is one where patients often stop taking medication or going to counseling when they start to feel better.  For me, to advocate trying crystals to help with this is going too far.In addition, the book needs better editing.I will give it credit for providing some interesting facts on the various stones and minerals.

    I am not one who ever believed in healing crystals. However, that being said I did not realize that I always gravitated to certain pieces of jewelry at times of great stress, because they made me feel good. After reading this book I now know why I would do this. I would recommend this book for those who want to understand and use alternate methods of healing.     This book contains interesting information  about crystal healing. The contents are well organized. It would help if more editing is done so that typos and word choice issues can be eliminated. Also, it helps to reformat the sections in the third and fourth chapters. For instance, the illnesses mentioned need to be in the main headings and the corresponding crystals for possible healing  should be the subheadings . Otherwise, the readers might get confused.I received  this  book  free  in  exchange  for  my  honest  review .
