Review: Delighted with plant supplied - Really delighted with the bare root apple tree received. Such good value and was expecting something half the size having to grow on for a few years. It is actually around 3-4ft and although it’s in its winter state, you can already see nodules that will grow on. Not expecting fruit this year but looks like it will develop into a strong healthy dwarf tree

**Q: Which rootstock is the graft on? I am trying to get a feel for the max height it will grow as wanted to espalier against a fence to provide screening**
A: Highest graft is about 4 foot after 6 months, other 6 inch lower

**Q: Should I plant this in the ground or a pot?**
A: I have planted mine in the ground. As previous answer you could plant it in a pot but you would need a bigger pot to allow root growth but would need to keep on top of the watering. I can foresee that you might need to plant in the ground eventually

**Q: Is it the wrong time of year to be planting a bare root tree**
A: Yes bare root trees are an autumn planting project

**Q: Could these grow in a container of about 50 litres?**
A: I have just planted mine in a 50 litre pot, and I have flowers on them already, I only planted them June 11th

Arrived on time it’s in the ground looks good to me I’ll find out flavours when it starts production but I’m a happy shopper thank you . It’s my third tree off you and the other 2 are great pear tree produce is great cherry only been in a few months great stuff .. hope they all take like the pear did ..
