They snapped right in on my 5-inch gutters. They cut easily with snips. They have a built-in notch so when you assemble them from the left to the right they align properly and perfectly. It is very nice to by a product made in the US of A and have the same quality in every piece. I do recommend that you purchase these with the galvanized hex screws that include the driver. What I especially like about these is that you cannot see these from the ground. Others have a lip that is visible from the ground, the only issues with those are not all match your current gutter colors. I wish I would have known about these sooner.
