A: it didnt on my car but did on my sisters so think depends on paint

A: I've used t cut on many surfaces over the years and it's never let me down, if there's grout present be careful grout is porous and it. may stain the grout try it somewhere it's not seen if that's possible just be careful.

**Q: I scraped my car slightly on a yellow wall and yellow paint has come off the wall onto my car. Will this get yellow paint off my silver car? Thank you**
A: Depends upon the depth of the scratch. It might take multiple applications. Use a J-cloth to apply, stockinette to remove and a soft, yellow duster to polish and buff-up.

For around £8, you get a good amount of product, and it goes a long way depending on the size of the scratches you’re tackling. The best results come when the surface is clean and slightly damp - a quick wipe with a damp microfibre cloth is enough to prep the area and apply the product. It’s worth stressing that some effort is required. Unfortunately, this isn’t a wipe‑on miracle fix - you’ll need to apply pressure and work the product in. Think of it as peeling back layers of an onion: you want to remove just enough of the top surface to blend the scratch, without cutting deeper than necessary. When used correctly, it does a solid job of removing light scratches and paint transfer. The key test is whether your fingernail catches on the scratch. If it doesn’t, this product can usually buff it out. If it does, you’re dealing with a deeper groove - in that case, T-Cut will only remove the colour transfer, not the actual indentation. Upsides: ✅ Affordable and good quantity for the price ✅ Works well on light scratches and paint transfer ✅ Easy to apply with a damp cloth Downsides: ❌ Requires elbow grease - not a quick swipe on, wipe-off fix ❌ Won’t repair deeper scratches you can feel with a fingernail ⭐ Final Thoughts & Rating I’m giving this product 5 stars because it delivers exactly what it promises at a very fair price. For light scratches and paint transfer, it’s effective, consistent, and cost‑efficient. The fact that it won’t fix deeper grooves isn’t a flaw of this product - it’s simply the limit of what any scratch remover in this category can do. For £8, the value and performance are excellent, making it a reliable choice for those oops moments and keeping your car’s finish looking cleaner without professional repair.
