By doing that I’ve noticed it doesn’t light up to be changed as often, which seemed like it was very frequent, despite not being in a smoky/dirty/high allergen environment. **Q: This last one I ordered had a strong chemical smell not sure why anyone else had this issue?** A: I have never had a problem. There’s usually a mild smell that goes away in 24 hours. If there’s an awful smell I would return and get a new one. **Q: What are the dimensions of the filter?
