I keep using Nizoral Ketoconazole Shampoo for one simple reason: it works. That’s also why I eventually upgraded from the 7-ounce bottle to the 14-ounce one. Whenever my scalp flares up, Nizoral is my go-to. But for a long time, there was a side effect I just learned to live with. After rinsing it out, my scalp always felt dry, tight, and stripped. My hair became rough, stiff, and impossible to manage. The treatment did its job, but my hair and scalp felt terrible afterward.
