Great starter kit that has a really strong magnet. So strong in fact that I lost mine on the first trip out. I am fully to blame as I didn’t bother using the included thread locker on the hook that screws into the magnet itself. My top tip would be to definitely use the thread locker! I purchased a replacement magnet made by a different manufacturer which had a similar claimed strength and it wasn’t a patch on this one. I am tempted to buy this kit again so that I can get another decent magnet. I would highly recommend this starter kit if you are just having a go in your spare time. My included picture shows what I collected after a few dunks in our local river.
