## Description

This seat includes new Duravit blind hole fixing plugs. When the pan was manufactured these were factory fitted you thus may or may not require new ones. We dont know neither do you unless you remove your seat fittings and check before ordering. If getting somebody in to fit the new seat order with new plugs that way the fitter will have everything he needs. We have a listing that doesnt contain these plugs B083DXVCLR These plugs are inserted into the pan holes to provide a fixing to take the hinge plate screws to secure them to the pan. Starck 3 pans are pretty unique by the way that the seat mounting holes manufactured into the pan are at 270mm centres. Duravit have also changed the centres on their starck 2 and darling new to 260mm. I am reliably informed by customers that this seat fits those pans as well. These are the holes in the pan not the pins that the seat attaches to. If seat hole spacings are 220-160 then you require a starck2 / happyd seat. If you are measuring aprox 220mm across the pin centres it will be a starck 3. Take time to look at all the pictures provided on the left side of the order page. Duravit also make an extra wide pan and an extra long pan quite rare but they are about so check. You are ordering a Toilet seat designed to fit Duravit starck 3 standard pans. Soft close, quick release Manufactured from anti bac urea plastics from chemiplastica of Italy. This wrapover design features soft closing hinge mechanisms for that real touch of luxury. Easily removed for cleaning by pushing 2 x chromed quick release buttons. Complete with stainless steel fixings and cover plates. Will fit seat hole centres of 270mm.

I am reliably informed that it does fit. Whilst it was designed to fit starck 3 which believe it or not is slightly narrower at the front of the pan than the back but by mm. I think that the darling pan has seat hole centres of 260 so it will fit those. The customer who I dealt with said it fitted fine in fact he said it was much better than the duravit product (I would say that wouldn't I !!!!!!). The other thing you need to check is if the fixings are intact. These are the plugs that hold the seat fixing screws. You will read about them in the full description.

This toilet seat is a perfect fit for the Duravit ceramic toilet and the easy remove system for cleaning is ideal. It took just minutes to fit. Unfortunately, removing the old one was a nightmare involving a "last resort" hacksaw to cut off the posts! The soft close is very functional. The only downside is the price. Its a lot of money for a bog seat.
