Is it 20 seperate packs ?** A: If you’ve ordered a pack with 20 showing then it will be 20 separate instant ice packs (they are smaller ... square ... the bigger ones are oblong) but yes, definitely individual ice packs! **Q: Why is there a use by date on these?** A: Just a guess but I’d think the individual packaging inside which separates the chemicals will degrade over time and they could activate in your rucksack without pressure so may not be any use when you need them? **Q: How to activate? Have searched 4 so far and no activation sachets inside. Ridiculous and useless.** A: I can only tell you about the box that I am using.
