Best wishes M Latif** A: You can fit it to any copper or plastic pipe the correct size, just remember to never hide flex pipes behind walls or where you cant get to them as they are more prone to failure than copper, mine are on mains water but easily accessible **Q: Are these suitable on copper pipe and if so do you need the inserts?** A: Yes they are suitable for copper pipe and you do not need the inserts. **Q: Can this be used outside in garden ?will it be okay in cold winter weather??** A: Excellent fitting INDOORS, I would not use outside in winter weather. without lots of insulation, otherwise excellent product won't hesitate to use in future. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars No instructions but very effective! *by L***N on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 23 April 2018* Here's how to fit these based on my experience with 3 of them, no instructions are supplied:Unscrew the end caps of the connector and remove the 2 blue discs and the black o-ring from each end and keep them ready.Cut the pipe to leave a gap that matches at most the flexible connection.Make sure the pipe ends are free of burrs. I used wet/dry paper.Push the connector end caps onto the pipe ends (not too far, 2 cm maybe) and then a blue disc and then the o-ring. Put the remaining 2 blue discs back in the connector ends where they came from and then screw the connector onto the end caps (with the caps on the pipe ends).
