I weigh around 240 and I am 5'9" tall. My toilet broke and I need to buy a new one. I don't have the money right now so I bought this and some bags. This was easy to set up and is comfortable to sit upon. It holds my weight well the chamber feels very sturdy underneath me. I put a waste bucket inside this toilet covered in a waste bag for easy and sanitary disposal. This thing has a nice wide toilet seat with cover and the inside has a bottom floor so if you need to move it you can without your bucket falling out. It also has a hand grip area to easily move it around with one or two hands. I don't use the toilet paper holder as I don't have room for it. All in all this is working well for my needs. It will be great for camping too. It's lightweight and folds down to a small footprint. It comes with a travel bag. Very happy I found this when I needed it. This sure beats sitting on a 5 gallon bucket... plus it is easy to clean too.

Had a few different type of these porta potty's, I used to use the 5 gallon bucket with a seat lid which in my opinion is still the best BUT it takes up to much space while traveling. This is the one though, folds nice and compact, seems durable and when it's set up and ready to use it super sturdy! It's solid and is defiantly not collapsing or tipping over. Like I said aside from the 5 gallon bucket, I tried 4 different foldable travel potty's and this one, this style is the way to go. None are perfect but this is near perfect and the best out there.5'11 180 zero issues, if I was 200+ I'd still feel comfortable using it. Yes it's just high enough, remember the higher/taller you go the more risk of tipping over! This one is pretty much 5 gallon bucket height. To add replacement bags are "13 gallon" I bought hefty 13 gallon bags and they are perfect, thick and leak proof!I'd purchase again if needed and I'd recommend to others. Best option aside from a 5 gallon bucket.

I really like the size of this. I am glad I purchased this size, because I can't imagine having to sit lower with some of the other brands.The description says this is ABS plastic but, it doesn't feel like ABS to me. The lid, seat, and hinges are thin, and seems they could crack very easily. The phone and toilet paper holder keeps falling off. The cut outs for carrying it are great, and the carry storage bag is a plus. I gave it 4 stars only because of the size.

I bought this as an emergency item for my vehicle. It stores compact, and it opens up sturdy. It is exactly what it claims to be.

Awesome for camping. The tp roll holder didn't really stick in though. Can be a little unstable if you're moving around a lot. A 5 gal bucket would be more stable. But worked great for the kids.

Used this on a one week camp trip. Loved the ease of set up and sturdy to sit on. The bags that came with the toilet not so great. Two bags "failed" and it was disgusting. Do not trust the bags that come with the toilet. As another reviewer recommended, I also ordered Hefty 13 gallon bags which were much more sturdy. I'm glad I did.

This is pretty flimsy and if someone big sat on it, I'm not sure it would hold up. The toilet seat has an inner edge that is not smooth so it hurts! The toilet seat is WAY smaller than it claims to be. Would be good for children.

I bought this for a primitive camping week long trip that my family and I went on this summer. It was an absolute lifesaver, and I highly recommend the purchase of this device if you’re in need of a portable outdoor toilet.I read other peoples reviews and recommendations prior to buying this myself. Some people said they use this when traveling in the car. I don’t see how that would be possible.We used it on a sturdy ground while camping inside of a camping shower tent for privacy. We also purchased some medical grade biohazard small bags to line the inside….to catch our…outputs. Everyone in our family is over 160 pounds and it held perfectly. I weigh about 195 pounds and I was a little worried at first, because the plastic is so light weight, but it helped me just fine. After I became used to the feeling of it, I didn’t worry anymore.All in all, it worked well when we needed a toilet and I give it five stars and I highly recommend this purchase

This camping dunny folds down to a very small footprint which is needed in a smaller camper. the plastic is light but fairly robust. You need to be careful not to be too rough with it though. Best part is the height, you don't have to be a midget to use it.
