**Q: Will it block out the sound of a cat or dog licking itself?**
A: Absolutely. They have been wonderful. I live with major sound sensitivities. I no longer deal with the sounds of the dog playing/licking or kids arguing. I can’t hear the dog, the kids I’m able to hear but at a much much lower volume. Not triggering at all anymore.

**Q: Do these block out the noise of coworkers clicking their pens?**
A: They can block out the sound of my father watching the same episode of Blue Bloods for the ten millionth time at top volume. You're going to wonder if your coworkers stopped using pens altogether once you pop these in.

**Q: I am looking for the maximum amount of sound blocking - is this these? (not going for earbuds that play noise-cancelling sounds, yet).**
A: These are 27dB (decibel) noise cancelling, that means it reduces the environmental sound by 27dB. So here are some dB comparisons Gunshot/firecracker 140dB, Jet Engine 130dB, Rock Concert 110dB, Lawnmower 90dB, Blender/Vacuum Cleaner 80 dB, Normal Conversation 60dB, Quiet Library 30 dB. In order to cancel out my hard of hearing father’s pandora, had to pair these with 37dB earmuffs and I still could hear it but at least it was very muffled. Using both was uncomfortable and felt like my ears had under gone a severe pressure drop. Hope this info helps. Wishing you the best of luck.

**Q: Is the loop a soft silicone or hard? I sleep on my side ans git something similar but the loop is hard and hurts whil sleeping**
A: The Quiets are a soft silicone and flexible. The Engage and Experience models are hard and not for sleeping. I personally find the silicone tips painful as they feel like they trap an air bubble in my ears but the foam tips are fine. Make sure you're using the right size. Using the wrong size can cause pain or make the loops fall out. You may also need a different size for both ears.

I have been using these for over a month now, and these work great. Few times I thought that my fan is not working because I cannot hear it (I have an additional table fan and it makes decent noise because it is too close to me), but the fan works and these ear plugs were blocking the noise.It seems to be a little expensive but the best ear plugs that I have used so far; Unlike other ear plugs, these are much more comfortable and they block more noise than other ear plugs. Using these also seem to have improved my sleep quality (and maybe even my concentration levels?)Although they come out of my ears while sleeping (maybe because I roll a lot or maybe because I prefer to sleep on my side, idk), but I like it this way as it allows me to hear my alarm in the morning.Update: it turns out, that my ear canal size is too small (weirdly, the size is a little different for both of my ears) which is why they always come out while I am sleeping. Loop company does make smaller sized (xxs) ear plugs but for some reason, they do not ship those to India, so I guess that I will have to live with the smaller size that I received. My friends for whom the ear plugs fit more suitably say that their plugs do not come out while sleeping and their experience is much better and comfortable than mine.

Expensive. But worth the price because of the comfort they provide. Can sleep however I want and won't fall off. But note that this only gives like maybe 20% noise reduction and only high frequency noises. Don't expect it block out conversations or any construction sounds nearby. It dulls them though definitely.

I have been using normal silicone earplugs for a while but these are real game changers.If you are a light sleeper like me and your home is close by noisy idiots who don't know how loud they are then these are for you.It mutes outside noise but muffles inside noise( you can hear when your mom is calling but can't hear construction work of your neighbours).They are much softer much comfortable and easy to clean.
