The pen has multiple speed settings. Low medium and high it changes how fast the product comes out. The directions are really clear and the controls are easy to learn. One thing is that the button placement for the speed adjustment is a challenge to change the speed, as you “draw”. But other than that, I love everything about the pen. Also, be careful when ordering replacement filament because it has to be PCL. There is another kind that is PLA for higher heat pens if you order that by mistake it won't work.
