Ideal for gardeners and weather enthusiasts, the dual set allows simultaneous tracking across multiple locations, ensuring you never miss a drop. ## Description Track every drop with confidence using the Taylor 5 Inch Capacity Glass Rain Gauge 2 Piece Set. Whether you are a dedicated gardener monitoring irrigation levels, a homeowner keeping tabs on seasonal rainfall, or a weather enthusiast who wants precise local precipitation data, this set delivers the accuracy and reliability that Taylor has been known for since 1851. Each gauge features a clear glass tube that allows you to see water levels instantly, with easy-to-read measurement increments marked along the side. There is no need to estimate or approximate - the transparent design gives you a direct, unobstructed view of exactly how much rain or sprinkler water has accumulated. The markings are designed for quick, accurate reading even after a heavy storm. The weather-resistant construction means these gauges are built for real outdoor conditions. Sun exposure, rain, and temperature swings will not degrade the materials or cause the markings to fade, so you can rely on consistent performance throughout every season of the year. Setting up your rain gauge is straightforward. Each unit comes with a metal ground spike that pushes securely into the soil, keeping the gauge stable and upright even during strong winds or heavy downpours. No complicated installation, no additional hardware needed - just place it where you want to measure and you are ready to go. Because this is a 2 piece set, you can place one gauge near your garden bed and another in an open area of your yard to compare rainfall distribution, track sprinkler coverage, or simply have a backup ready. This makes the set especially useful for larger properties, community gardens, or anyone who wants a more complete picture of local precipitation patterns. Taylor's heritage of producing precise, dependable measurement instruments means every detail of this rain gauge has been thoughtfully considered. From the quality of the glass tube to the durability of the metal spike, this set reflects a standard of craftsmanship that homeowners and outdoor enthusiasts have trusted for generations. Add it to your outdoor measurement toolkit and never wonder how much rain fell overnight again. Review: Works well - Nice rain gauge cylinder. There is a mounting piece with it that doesn't show in this picture and it's easy to mount on a chain link. **Q: how do you empty it if mounted to fence?** A: you must use the bracket it is sent with. it then screws to a fence post. You could get some small L shaped brackets and mount to fence wire **Q: Where is the ground stake? I have ordered three. One had it. The other two didn't.** A: There are two different rain gauges on this page -- the 25" tall version does not include a ground stake. The 20" smaller version does include the ground stake. The ground stake is pictured with the 20" item where it is not pictured with the 25". They look very similar and the only difference is overall size. **Q: Do you read the top of the float or the bottom?** A: The red plastic floats on the top of the water, so even though it differs slightly top to bottom, the bottom is the bottom of the water. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works well *by G***I on September 27, 2026* Nice rain gauge cylinder. Very cheap mounting bracket ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Large numbers *by W***M on October 5, 2026* The numbers are large enough to read from my deck. They are glass so remember to bring it in before it freezes ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Decent quality for the price. *by A***R on September 22, 2026* The price was good, the quality is OK, the metal stand is pretty flimsy to try to stick in the ground. I mounted one on a post and it is fine. ## Frequently Bought Together - Taylor 2710N2 Mountable Rain Gauge, Measure and Monitor Precipitation, Easy to Read for Backyard, Patio, Garden, and Lawn, 2-Pack, Clear - AcuRite 5" Capacity Easy-to-Read Magnifying Rain Gauge, Acrylic (00850A3) - Taylor 2715 2-in-1 Rain Gauge and Sprinkler Gauge, Measure and Monitor Precipitation, Easy to Read for Backyard, Patio, Garden, and Lawn, Yellow --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/510589674-2-pack-rain-gauge-outdoor-glass-5-inch-capacity](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/510589674-2-pack-rain-gauge-outdoor-glass-5-inch-capacity) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-11*
