The cable was plug and play, no driver download needed and the connection to my machine worked perfectly. I don't normally write reviews but this one took me by surprise and deserved sharing. Review: Works well, I've used upto 500k baud - Very good. FTDI chipset means these just plugged in to my Windows 11 machine and worked immediately. I've used it at up to 500k baud without any problems. From the little manual, it is also a fully wired RS232, not just a couple of signals that some provide although I have not personally verified that. Length is perfect to plu into my tower PC on the floor and plug into items on the desk. Appears durable with goo cable and no bigger than a numal RS232 plug.
