The book is perfect for believers of any age or level of understanding. In it's chapters, Immaculee walks you through her own journey of discovery as she recounts her personal experiences of introduction to and growth in understanding the tradition of the Rosary. Her prose is inspired and inviting. She outlines the basics for those who are unfamiliar with the mechanics behind the prayer but she also provides an in depth review of each one of the twenty mysteries in an unintended rhythmic fashion that is so beautiful it is hard not to be in awe of her deep and abiding faith. This book would be an excellent gift for anyone who loves to read and would like to know more about this Catholic practice. I intend to buy additional copies for my family and friends. I am especially anxious to share it with my nieces, age 10 - 18, who I believe will benefit greatly from the positive messages of peace, forgiveness, gratitude, love, trust and faith. It tells the story of a young woman caught up.in a rebellion.between two tribes in Rwanda. She hid in a small bathroom and,through her prayers of the Rosary was able to save her life. It is making me really think about many things. It is wonderfully evident that Immaculee has a deep love for Mary - Mother of God. Her stories of her as a child often make me smile and laugh.
