Especially given the charging case is essential to the operation of the QuietComfort Ultra 2nd gen. earbuds. Using the charging cable or the charge mat I did not have to remove the case for either to charge. As a longtime Bose earbuds user I am/was always super cautious with the charging case, especially against dropping or accidentally opening in my purse. It is worth the great price found on desertcart and it does what's needed, enjoy!
